The TW Brown Safety app is an internal workforce-training tool provided by T.W. Brown for its employees and authorized contractors. It is not intended for the general public.
Information we collect
- Account details — your name and work email address, provided by your employer or entered when your account is created.
- Training records — module progress, quiz scores, completion dates, and certificates you earn in the app.
- Sign-in data — if you sign in with a Microsoft work account, authentication is handled by Microsoft; the app receives your work email address and display name only.
How we use it
- To deliver assigned safety training and track completion, as required for workplace safety compliance.
- To issue and verify certificates of completion.
- To notify you by email about account setup, pending training, and annual recertification.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or files.
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Sharing
Training records are visible to T.W. Brown safety administrators for compliance management. Certificates can be verified by third parties (for example, a general contractor) via a certificate ID. Email delivery is handled by our email service provider solely to send the messages described above.
Retention & deletion
Training records are retained while you are employed or engaged by T.W. Brown and as required by workplace-safety recordkeeping obligations. To request account deletion, contact your safety administrator or email hunter@twbrown.com; local (non-Microsoft) accounts and their training data can be deleted by an administrator from the admin portal.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled servers. Passwords are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes.
